The 2022 Chevy Spark sees very few changes and updates, including three new exterior colors: Crimson, Nitro Yellow, and Blue Glow. Here’s our first look at the new blue hue.
Assigned color code GGK and touch-up paint code WA-650G, Blue Glow is one of four dark hues available for the 2022 Chevy Spark, along with Mosaic Black, Nightfall Gray, and Crimson. Additionally, Blue Glow is one of eight metallic paint options on offer.
Notably, the Spark offers ten exterior color options:
- Silver Ice
- Summit White
- Mosaic Black
- Crimson
- Cayenne Orange
- Red Hot
- Blue Glow
- Nitro Yellow
- Nightfall Gray
- Mystic Blue
The new Blue Glow color is included in the base price of the 2022 Spark, and is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations of the 2022 Chevy Spark.
2022 Chevy Spark Trim Levels:
- LS (1SA, 1SB)
- 1LT (1SC, 1SD)
- ACTIV (1SG, 1SH)
- 2LT (1SE, 1SF)
2022 Chevy Spark Interior Color Combinations:
- Jet Black
- Jet Black with Dark Anderson Silver Metallic
As previously reported by GM Authority, 2022 Chevy Spark units entered production on June 7th at the GM Changwon plant in South Korea. While some units have already reached dealer lots, models in the Blue Glow exterior color appear to be almost non-existent at dealers.
With COVID-19 complications still putting a strain on production, it’s unclear exactly when buyers can expect to see stable inventory and a broad range of available colors at the retail level. Of course, availability will vary by dealer, so check with yours for complete details.
Notably, the only other changes to the Spark for the 2022 model year were the deletion of three exterior colors, including Passion Fruit, Toasted Marshmallow, Caribbean Blue.

great color
Okay color, but I like the Caribbean Blue they got rid of better.
Also, I don’t think any 2022 Sparks have arrived at dealers in the US yet. And, according to Chevy’s website, there are only 8 2022s on their way.
No purple!? In fact a very few UNUSUAL colors. A pity Chevy plays it so conservatively when it comes to exterior colors for its Spark.
Due to the ongoing problems that gm is currently having with the Chevy Bolt, the Spark would certainly be a good alternative to go for when customers are looking for a good compact vehicle that is more RELIABLE and won’t have to be parked more than 50 feet away from other vehicles or left outside for fear of it burning down the house.
