2022 Cadillac XT6 Gets New Rosewood Color: First Look

The 2022 Cadillac XT6 adds two new exterior colors to its palette: Latte Metallic and Rosewood Metallic. Here’s a detailed look at the new Rosewood hue.

Assigned color code GCK and touch-up paint code WA-6127G, Rosewood Metallic is one of two red color options available for the luxury crossover, along with Infrared Tintcoat, which is much brighter and a “purer” red. It’s worth noting that the rest of the exterior paint options for the XT6 are subtle, and could be described as neutral.

Rosewood is also one of six metallic exterior color options available for the 2022 model year.

In total, there are eight available colors for the 2022 Cadillac XT6, including:

• Crystal White Tricoat
• Latte Metallic
• Satin Steel Metallic
• Stellar Black Metallic
• Rosewood Metallic
• Wilder Metallic
• Dark Moon Blue Metallic
• Infrared Tintcoat

Notably, Satin Steel Metallic is the only exterior color option included in the base price of the 2022 Cadillac XT6. All other colors carry an additional cost, with the new RosewoodMetallic color priced at $625.

It is also available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations.

As of this writing, dealer inventory of 2022 Cadillac XT6 models is sparse due to the ongoing microchip shortage, which has impacted the GM Spring Hill factory in Tennessee that assembles the XT6. While there are 2022 XT6 units already on dealer lots, it does not look like models finished in the Rosewood Metallic hue are currently available. We recommend checking with a dealer about models coated in the new Rosewood Metallic paint.
