Oracle Lighting has released a new color-shifting light module that allows sixth-generation Chevy Camaro owners to change the color of their vehicle’s daytime running lights on the fly.
The module works with the 2019-2021 Chevy Camaro with the non-SS, RS or ZL1 front fascia, making it compatible with the 1LS, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and V8-powered LT1 trim levels. Oracle offers separate color shifting light kits for the RS/SS front fascia as well as the ZL1 front fascia, however those were previously available. The kit for the LS and LT models, on the other hand, is all-new.
This light module works by replacing the factory daytime running light circuit board in the Camaro with Oracle’s own ColorShift circuit board. As a result, this modification is a little bit tricky to install and will require some basic know-how with regard to electronics and wiring. It also requires the user to pull apart each of the Camaro’s headlight casings and re-seal them with Oracle headlight sealer to prevent moisture, dirt and debris from getting behind the lens.
Oracle also offers a Bluetooth enabled module controller for its color-shifting light kits, which allows the user to connect their smartphone to the module and use it to adjust the color and intensity of their daytime running lights. Different controller types are also available via Oracle’s website for different applications and use cases, but the Bluetooth controller is the most popular, according to the company.
Pricing for the color-shifting Oracle headlight system for the Chevy Camaro starts at $259.99 without a controller. Adding the Bluetooth-enabled BC1 controller brings the price to $309.99 before taxes. Customers can also add a one-year warranty for $30.99, a two-year warranty for $59.99 and a three-year warranty for $84.99.
It should be noted that colored DRLs are not legal for road use and are intended for use at car shows or other scenarios where the vehicle is stationary and not on a public roadway.
“Using the latest lighting technology, our cutting-edge LED kits for cars are a great way to personalize your ride with show-stopping looks and industry-leading performance,” Oracle says on its website. “Stand out from the look-alikes with a Camaro LS/LT custom headlight look from Oracle Lighting.”

I’m sure there will be idiots doing 90mph on the outside lane and will flash colors to any vehicle it gets behind to force the vehicle to switch lanes thinking it is a police vehicle. The article reads it is illegal in all states but many do illegal driving anyway.
Oracle Lighting should have provided a connection at the module for led lights under the chassis and wheel wells to work with the DRL’s.
What will be the base price of a 2022 Camaro
convertible w/ 4 cyl & minimum of options?
Too Bad they could change the whole frontend
Why
Why not, some kids are proud that they could afford a $50k Chevy.
Quit adding sh#t to try and sell this car and just fix the cosmetics of the ugly clown face front , then it will sell !!
to me it just looks like a rental car…BLAHHH
This is my 5th camaro, 2 SS convertible and is a great car. What other car is shaped like the Nascars. Working at the track for about 6 years at Daytona, very similar aero dynamics. We need to beef up the motor, I have made a few changes to get more horsepower without supercharging not that it isn’t a thought as well. Right now with no microchips you’ll be looking at used cars!
