The 2022 Chevy Camaro arrives as the seventh model year of the current sixth-generation vehicle, introducing a few changes and updates over the preceding 2021 model year. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the accessories on offer with the 2022 Chevy Camaro Redline Edition.
The Redline Edition is available on all trim levels of the 2022 Chevy Camaro, with the exception of the base-level LS and the top-shelf ZL1, adding aesthetic upgrades to the exterior and interior.
The package includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch Black-painted aluminum wheels with Red accents (SRI/58E)
- Black Camaro fender badge with Red outline (CG6)
- Redline Edition graphics (VUP)
- Red seat belt color (3F9)
- Red knee pads (2F5)
- Premium carpeted floor mats (VYW)
There are several other Redline Edition accessories on offer as well, including a Lower Grille in Black with Red Hot inserts, priced at $370. Note that the Lower Grille in Black with Red Hot inserts only fits LS and LT trim levels.
Further accessories include the Interior Door Trim Kit in Red Hot ($275), a Knee Pad Interior Trim Kit in Adrenaline Red ($325), and Premium carpeted Camaro logo floor mats with Red edging ($160).
For those 2022 Chevy Camaro customers that want to add custom flair to their new sports car, these accessories and options are a fantastic choice, complementing the factory styling perfectly.
As GM Authority covered back in 2019, General Motors reintroduced the Chevy Camaro Redline Edition package with the debut of the 2020 model year. Previously, the Redline Edition package was introduced at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show alongside several other Chevy Redline Edition vehicles. However, the package was discontinued with the 2019 model year changeover before its reintroduction for the 2020 model year.
Production of the 2022 Chevy Camaro started this week, as GM Authority covered previously. New 2022 models are currently rolling off the line at the GM Lansing Grand River assembly plant in Lansing, Michigan.

I think its interesting they are building 22’s but you can’t build one on the site yet. I guess you can only do it through the dealer currently.
It was like that for the 2021 models. I think the online configuration wasn’t available until 2-3 months after they started production.
Unfortunately the Redline package is limited at the start of the 2022 model year.
