2022 Buick Enclave Gets New Head-Up Display

The 2022 Buick Enclave will be available with a new full-color digital head-up display.

The head-up display in the 2022 Buick Enclave will come as standard equipment with the Premium and Avenir trim levels. It won’t be offered in the entry-level Preferred or the mid-grade Essence trim levels, so the only way to equip the new HUD in the mid-size crossover is to order one of the two well-equipped trims. This new and improved HUD is one of several tech-related upgrades applied to the refreshed 2022 Buick Enclave, along with a new wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto infotainment system, an available rear camera mirror and a new available rear pedestrian alert system.

The 2022 Buick Enclave also introduces different exterior styling, including new front and rear-end styling, new LED headlamps and taillights, different alloy wheel options and a unique grille and wheels for models equipped with the available Sport Touring package. Inside, the revised crossover gets a restyled center console with new push-button Electronic Transmission Range Select and additional premium soft touchpoints. The updated model will also get new exterior colors and will do away with the turn signal indicators that were previously used.

Under the hood, the 2022MY Enclave will continue to offer the 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which produces 310 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 266 pound-feet of torque at 2,800 rpm. The V6 is paired with a GM nine-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available as an option.

As we reported previously, the refreshed version of the second-generation Buick Enclave was originally set to arrive for the 2021 model year, but the update was eventually pushed back to 2022 due to complications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Buick Enclave will be built at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan alongside the closely related Chevy Traverse. Buick has yet to confirm pricing details, though we’re not expecting a major deviation from the 2021 Enclave, which starts at $41,495.

  2. The grill was the selling point of the Buick at least it was for me and now their grill is like the rest of them. Bring back the , ie: 2009 Buick LaCrosse, I bet sales would increase. I was planning to buy soon and I will not buy due to the grill change.
