We Render The Chevy Silverado Electric Pickup

Back in April, General Motors announced that it would launch a new all-electric version of the popular Chevy Silverado pickup. Now, GM Authority is providing a preview of the up-and-coming battery-driven Chevy Silverado electric with the following exclusive set of renderings.
At first blush, our Chevy Silverado electric pickup certainly appears to have plenty of Silverado DNA as far as the styling is concerned. The front end, for example, includes familiar two-tiered lighting, with bright LED strips for illumination. The light strips bracket a central dividing grille bar, which also includes an LED strip that runs the width of the grille insert.
Speaking of the grille, our Chevy Silverado electric pickup rendering includes a blocked-off front end that helps to make the truck more aerodynamic. The block-off insert has a similar texture to that of the refreshed 2022 Chevy Bolt EV, and adds a futuristic vibe to the fascia as well.
Moving over into the profile, our battery-driven pickup truck runs a set of aero-friendly wheels, which work to smooth out the rushing air and eke out every last bit of EV range. You’ll also find a charge port added to the driver’s-side fender.
Finally, the rear end looks familiar, but the tail section also includes a few noteworthy changes compared to internal-combustion models, starting with the deletion of the exhaust pipes. The rear lighting was also updated, and now includes a horizontal lighting strip that stretches across the rear tailgate, connecting the tail lamps. Finally, a “Silverado E” badge identifies this model as the hotly anticipated Chevy Silverado electric pickup truck.
The new Chevy Silverado electric pickup truck will be built at GM’s Factory Zero assembly facility (previously known as Detroit-Hamtramck) in Michigan. Both retail and fleet versions are expected, with GM’s Ultium power providing motivation and upwards of 400 miles per charge.
