Chevy Spark Average Transaction Price In June Was Less Than $17k

While the rest of the automotive industry is seeing higher average transaction prices, the Chevy Spark remains an extremely affordable option for those in the market for a new vehicle.

According to data obtained by Cox Automotive, the average transaction price of a Chevy Spark hatchback in June was less than $17,000, making it the most affordable car available in America currently.

It’s not surprising to see the average transaction price for the Chevy Spark come in at under $17,000. Pricing for the hatchback starts at just $14,595 for the LS trim level with the base six-speed manual transmission including destination and freight charges. The most expensive Chevy Spark model, the 2LT trim level with the six-speed automatic transmission, starts at $19,095.

Demand for the Chevy Spark has been strong in recent months, with the subcompact hatch running on a tight 14-day supply in May and at the beginning of June. The vehicle is produced at the GM Changwon plant in South Korea. Production of the 2022 Chevy Spark began at the Changwon facility on June 7th.

The 2022 Chevy Spark is identical to the outgoing 2021 Chevy Spark in almost every respect. The only change made for 2022 was the deletion of three exterior colors, Passion Fruit, Toasted Marshmallow and Caribbean Blue, which have been replaced by Crimson Metallic, Blue Glow Metallic and Nitro Yellow Metallic. Pricing for the 2022MY Spark has not yet been revealed, but we’re not expecting any major deviations from the 2021MY. That means the Chevy Spark will likely remain the cheapest vehicle available in America for the near future.

Opposite the Chevy Spark on the average transaction price spectrum was the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The boxy SUV enjoyed an impressive average transaction price of $195,500 in June, according to Cox Automotive, which is equivalent to 11.5 Chevy Sparks.

  4. I think your choice of sponsored ads should be more inclusive. Several are just trying to promote hate with their questions concerning illegal immigrants. They are not entitled to Stimulus checks and other Federal Benefits that these ads allude to. The right wing are reaching new lows in America and by you accepting their ad money you are joinng their racist hate groups.
