The Chevy Blazer midsize crossover has received a 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Award from automotive marketing and research firm AutoPacific.
AutoPacific released the results from its New Vehicle Satisfaction Survey today, which asked 89,000 new car and light truck owners questions regarding their vehicle ownership experience. The research firm uses this data to determine the winners of its annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, which “objectively measure owner satisfaction,” and provide consumers with “true, unbiased insight into which vehicles are providing their owners with the most satisfying experience.”
The Chevy Blazer won the ‘Premium Midsize XSUV’category in the 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, certifying the crossover as one of the best premium mid-size crossovers available on the market today, according to those surveyed. AutoPacific said many crossover and SUV buyers that participated in its survey were extremely happy with their purchase, underscoring the popularity of these vehicle types among consumers today. The research firm also pointed out that recent improvements in SUV/crossover platforms have negated many of the drawbacks these vehicles had previously, helping to drive owner satisfaction.
“Today’s high-riding crossovers and SUVs have also dramatically improved and been able to closely match also the comfortable ride, enjoyable driving experiences, respectable fuel economy, and more responsive handling often found on traditional cars,” AutoPacific says.
Other GM vehicles also performed well in this study. The Chevy Camaro won the Sporty Car category, while the Chevy Colorado took top honors on the Compact Pickup category. The Cadillac XT4 won the Compact Luxury XSUV category, as well. GMC also won the overall Vehicle Satisfaction Award among mainstream brands with “solid showings from its Sierra pickup and Yukon SUVs,” AutoPacific said.
