The 2022 GMC Acadia receives one new exterior color: Light Stone Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new sandy hue.
Assigned color code G5D and touch-up paint code WA-615G, Light Stone Metallic is one of six natural hues and one of five metallic color options available for the 2022 Acadia.
In total, there are eight available colors for the 2022 GMC Acadia, including:
- White Frost Tricoat
- Light Stone Metallic
- Satin Steel Metallic
- Summit White
- Ebony Twilight Metallic
- Hunter Metallic
- Midnight Blue Metallic
- Cayenne Red Tintcoat
The Light Stone Metallic color is not included in the price of the 2022 GMC Acadia, as it costs an additional $495. It is available in conjunction with all interior color combinations and trim levels, but it is not available on models equipped with the Acadia Elevation Edition package.
2022 GMC Acadia Trim Levels:
- SLE (3SA)
- SLT (4SA)
- AT4 (4SB)
- Denali (5SA)
2022 GMC Acadia Interior Color Combinations:
- Jet Black
- Cocoa with Light Ash Gray
- Dark Galvanized with Light Shale
To note, Summit White is the only exterior paint color included in the base price of the 2022 GMC Acadia.
As of this writing, 2022 Acadia units have begun to enter production on June 24th, 2021, including models in Light Stone Metallic. It’s possible that the ongoing microchip shortage may impede inventory levels, so we recommend checking with a dealer for complete availability details.
Prospective buyers may be interested to know that the 2022 Acadia receives other minor changes and updates, such as the deletion of the SL trim level, revised powertrain availability, new wheel options, new standard equipment, and more.

Glad its not another grey, light grey, medium grey or dark grey.
It looks to me like it is another shade of grey . . . sort of a tan-tinted grey. Besides light, medium and dark greys, they also have blueish grey, grey-tinted grey, plain grey, and boring grey. No drama here . . . just plain and boring.
GM can always find another $2 billion to put in E/V programs, BREAKING NEWS GM got a new paint color for its money making ICE autos!!
They really need to bundle the leather steering wheel back into the now base SLE. It used to be standard equipment even on the cheaper SL and now you can’t even option an SLE with that feature. Also no more V6 unless you start climbing the ladder into an SLT or Denali which gets far more pricier.
I can imagine General Motors owning a Florist shop and all of the assorted flowers were only available in numerous shades of grey. How much better would their competitors sales be ?
Happy to see GM adding colors.
I have a 21 Yukon in Satin Steel color and just sold my wife’s Buick Envision in summit white.
UNFORTUNATELY….GM lost out on selling my wife a ’21 Envision because of the limited selection of colors.
She now drives a ’21 Lexus RX350 in Moonbeam Beige Metallic. SORRY GM….you need to increase your color selection throughout your total line.
Just bought a 21 in Cayenne Red. Not an easy find as we bought the only one with in 100 miles.
I like the Satin Steel too.
We upgraded from a 17. I am not sure what they have don3 but this one rides better and is quieter. We had the electronic suspension on both but this one feels even better. They did redesign the rear suspension a little?
This with the variable suspension is one of the best riding and handling CUV out there.
Actually this is more a metallic gold like color. We had a Terrain in a similar color back in 2012.
GM offers many colors but most people buy the same colors and gray or silver is some of the most high sellers. I just wish they were contrast the interiors more.
My HHR SS had a black and red interior. It was a good looking interior with the contrasting colors. Jet black on everything is getting old.
