2022 Chevy Trailblazer Gets New Vivid Orange Color: First Look

The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer adds four new exterior colors to its palette: Crimson Metallic, Blue Glow Metallic, Mahogany Red Metallic, and Vivid Orange Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new orange hue.

Assigned color code GHD and touch-up paint code WA-656G, Vivid Orange Metallic is the only orange hue available for the 2022 Trailblazer. Additionally, Vivid Orange is one of two bold hues offered with Oasis Blue being the other option. Vivid Orange Metallic replaces Dark Copper Metallic, which was deleted after the 2021 model year. Comparatively, Vivid Orange Metallic is a brighter hue than the discontinued Dark Copper Metallic paint option.

It is worth noting all four of the new 2022 Chevy Trailblazer colors are metallic paint options, bringing the total number of metallic paint colors to seven for the 2022 Trailblazer. With four exterior paint options deleted for the 2022 Trailblazer, the addition of four new hues keeps the total number of 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer exterior paint options at 10.

The new Vivid Orange Metallic color is not included in the base price of the 2022 Trailblazer and costs an extra $395. The new hue is available in conjunction with four of the five interior color combinations: Jet Black, Jet Black with Medium Ash Gray, Jet Black with Almond Butter, and Jet Black with Arizona. Additionally, the new hue is only available on the LS, LT, and ACTIV trim levels.

As of this writing, Chevrolet dealers might have the 2022 Trailblazer in stock, including models in Vivid Orange Metallic.
