2022 Chevy Bolt EV And Bolt EUV Get Standard SiriusXM With 360L

The 2022 Chevy Bolt EV and 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV are equipped as standard with SiriusXM with 360L. Previously, the Chevy Bolt EV was optional with SiriusXM.

For those readers who may not know, SiriusXM with 360L is a streaming audio platform that offers a variety of different channels and a plethora of on-demand content. Highlights include pre-recorded shows, interviews, events, and live play-by-play sports broadcasts. What’s more, the service provides curated content suggestions based on the user’s listening history and favorites.

Now, the refreshed 2022 Chevy Bolt EV and all-new Chevy Bolt EUV offer SiriusXM with 360L as standard, and includes a free three-month trial subscription to the All Access package. Included in the package is the ability to listen not only in your vehicle, but also through the SiriusXM app, and at home on compatible devices.

Other packages with fewer features are also offered. Some features, including streaming content and listening recommendations, require GM connected vehicle services.

General Motors expanded the availability of SiriusXM with 360L late in the 2019 calendar year to select 2020-model-year vehicles.

The 2022 Chevy Bolt EV and 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV made a joint debut in February of this year, with the former model arriving as the sixth model year of the first-generation vehicle, and the latter arriving as a brand-new addition to the Bolt lineup.

Both models ride on the BEV2 dedicated all-electric vehicle platform and utilize a single-drive electric motor for motivation. Providing the juice is a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery, with output rated at 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. Range per charge is rated at 259 miles in the 2022 Chevy Bolt EV, and 250 miles in the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV. Plugged into a DC quick-charger, roughly 100 miles of range can be collected in about 30 minutes.

  1. The free Sirius xm is great as it doesn’t work inside a garage anyways, and you can’t park this thing in a garage so it fits perfectly with the brand.

    1. It’s sad you didn’t know the fire hazard warning was 2017 – 2019 models. This story is talking about 2022 models. All Bolts built after 2019 had batteries manufactured in the US using different chemistries than the original Bolts.

      1. I think people do know, it’s just that the Bolt has now acquired the public image as “the car that bursts into flames”.

        1. 112k Bolts sold in 5 years and 7 fires. Yes, that is a crazy trend. That’s 0.0000625 fires for each Bolt sold.

  2. Get rid of that “Ugly Front Grill” OMG !
    You can’t park them inside your garage with the risk of Fire.
    I have a 2007 HHR, and Love It… Just put my 4th set of tires on it.
    All I have ever done is change the Oil. Best Vehicle I ever owned.
    But… I really want an Electric Vehicle, if I don’t see some positive reviews on the GM Products, I am going to Tesla Model Y

    1. Fire risk is only 2017 to Early 2019 Models. mid 2019 on Batteries are built in Holland Michigan and are not subject to the fire issue.

      There has been plenty of positive news for the 2022 Model Vehicles.

      1. A couple of years ago the 2017 to 2019 batteries weren’t known to catch fire either. Not wanting to take a risk and buy from a company that also claimed to have solved the problem, then didn’t, is reasonable.

    1. I’ve seen Bolts for 25k at the dealers in my area as recently as last month, although lately cars haven’t exactly been in great supply.
      OTOH, it’s possible you could get a Bolt cheap now, in a red hot fire sale deal.

      Edit: LaFontaine Chevrolet in Ann Arbor is trying to unload a 2020 Bolt LT for $24,952.

      1. I was referring to 2022 models. Although they have the same power-train, the previous model have shortcomings compared with the 2022 models. (Narrow/uncomfortable seats, old style speed selector, etc)

  4. People should get all the facts first, The Risk is in 2017-2019. Interestingly I had a 2017 for 3 years no problem whatsoever. It appears to be a battery that was made internationally, not in the domestic US. And about EV Car Fires?, Perhaps a search on how many Tesla’s went up in flames may be in order. There were several news articles about those fires too. But in the end the risk is VERY LOW, so much so, you have a better chance of a fire in a ICE vehicle. I have already ordered my Bolt EUV and can’t wait for it to arrive. I hate my ICE engine vehicle after turning in my 2017 Bolt at end of lease.
