The 2022 Cadillac XT6 luxury crossover will usher a few changes and updates over the current 2021 model year, including additional standard advanced safety features.
Going forward, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 will come equipped as standard with both Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RPO code UFG) and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert (RPO code UKC).
Previously, 2021 Cadillac XT6 models offered both features as standard on Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, while the base-level Luxury trim level did not offer either feature. Now, all 2022 XT6 models are equipped with both features as standard.
In addition, 2022 Cadillac XT6 models will eliminate two exterior paint options from the options list, namely Shadow Metallic and Garnet Metallic, both of which will be replaced with two new hues. What’s more, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 will be among the latest Cadillac models to come equipped with Inteluxe upholstery, a new leatherette material, while 2022 Cadillac XT6 Sport models will be equipped with a new Brembo brake package that includes Brembo performance brake discs in front and red-painted brake calipers front and rear.
The 2022 Cadillac XT6 will continue on with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine as the base powerplant. Output from the four-cylinder is rated at 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm, and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. Higher in the line, the XT6 is offered with the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX, which is rated at 310 horsepower at 6,700 rpm and 271 pound-feet of torque at 5,000 rpm.
Both engine options connect to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which transfers power to either the front wheels, or all four wheels. The 2022 Cadillac XT6 will continue to ride on the extended-length GM C1 platform. Production is expected to ramp up later this year at GM’s Spring Hill Assembly plant in Tennessee.

As the 2022 model year, they should’ve offered a digital cluster, bigger infotainment display or even oleds display. I guess gm didn’t do it because of there focus on a electric future.
Like the way Cadillac has made the XT6 standout compared to other CUVs.
Just a sigh….. compared to the Aviator…
where is digital cluster? where is big screen infotainment?
where is SBW?
Is this luxury?
