Assigned color code GCK and touch-up paint code WA-627G, Rosewood Metallic is one of two red exterior colors available for the midsize luxury crossover, with the other option being Infrared Tintcoat. That said, Rosewood is a much darker hue than the Infrared option. Additionally, Rosewood Metallic is one of six metallic exterior color options available for the 2022 model year.
In total, there are eight available colors for the 2022 Cadillac XT5, including:
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Latte Metallic
- Satin Steel Metallic
- Stellar Black Metallic

- Wilder Metallic
- Dark Moon Blue Metallic
- Infrared Tintcoat
Notably, Satin Steel Metallic is the only exterior color option included in the base price of the luxury crossover, with all other colors carrying an additional cost. The new Rosewood Metallic color carries an additional cost of $625.
The new color is available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations.

Production of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 began on June 24th, as exclusively reported by GM Authority. As of this writing, dealer inventory of 2022 Cadillac XT5 models is sparse due to the ongoing microchip shortage, which has impacted the GM Spring Hill factory in Tennessee that assembles the XT5.
While there are 2022 XT5 units already on dealer lots, it does not look like models finished in the Rosewood Metallic hue are currently available. We recommend checking with a dealer about models coated in the new Rosewood Metallic paint.
Prospective buyers may be interested to know that, besides color changes, the 2022 XT5 receives several minor changes and updates such as new wheel options, a Brembo brake option, and more.
