The 2022 Buick Enclave will be available with a new Black Accent Package, enhancing the crossover’s styling with a pair of fresh aesthetic upgrades.
The 2022 Buick Enclave Black Accent package is tagged with RPO code PDM, and is offered as an LPO-level accessory, which means it is delivered to and installed by the dealer, rather than installed at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced.
The Enclaves new Black Accent package includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Chrome surround grille with Black mesh insert (RZ9)
- Black rear license plate applique (RXX)
Both items listed above are LPO-level items as well.
Pricing information and photos of the new package are currently unavailable. However, the 2022 Buick Enclave will be available on 2022 Buick Enclave Essence and Premium trim levels. The package will not be available with the range-topping Avenir trim level.
Availability for the 2022 Buick Enclave Black Accent package is set to open up in the fourth quarter of the 2021 calendar year, but will not be available at the start of production. The package will not be available in conjunction with the Sport Touring Edition (RPO code HCR) offered for the Essence trim level, nor will it be available in conjunction with the Luxury Package (PCL) offered for the Essence and Premium trim levels.
General Motors officially unveiled the refreshed 2022 Buick Enclave in June, debuting new features, new options, sharper exterior styling, new safety tech, and a range of equipment exclusive to the Avenir trim. Originally set for a refresh with the introduction of the 2021 model year, the refresh was subsequently pushed back to the 2022 model year as a result of complications stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The exterior of the 2022 Buick Enclave features a revised grille design and thin LED headlights, as well as a new rear fascia and reshaped taillights. Inside the cabin, the 2022 Buick Enclave features a reshaped center console and a new push-button shifter. Motivation is sourced from the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and produces 310 horsepower, plus 266 pound-feet of torque.

Strange, GM just removed yesterday from the Enclave Order Guide the Black Accent package so not available anymore !
Why would anyone buy this Buick made in China? If you’re buying GM I would think you’re trying to support American labor, American designers, and etc. If not buy a Toyota, Kia, or something else.
This is the last Buick built in North America, may be good one to buy before gm moves it’s production to China too. The rest of the Buick line up is Chinese cars with Buick nameplate applied.
Not true. The Envision is the only Chinese built model. Both the Encore and Encore GX are built in South Korea.
Thanks Adam, you are correct the 2 Encores are built in the Chevrolet (formerly DAEWOO) assembly plant. GM makes quiet few cars in that plant.
The Buick Enclave is built just west of Lansing, Michigan by American workers.
I have a 2015 gmc acadia built in the same plant as the buick enclave (former and current generation) it’s been great and super reliable. 86k miles and counting
