2021 New York Auto Show Poster Features C7 Corvette Grand Sport Wheel

Hype is building for the 2021 New York Auto Show, set to take place in The Big Apple next month. Event organizers recently released a new poster advertising the show, and notably, the poster includes an image of the C7 Corvette Grand Sport’s wheel.

The poster is titled “The Future Is Bright,” and includes an image of the Manhattan Bridge, which spans the East River and connects Lower Manhattan with Downtown Brooklyn. In the background, we see the New York skyline, with gorgeous neon hues highlighting the city streets and sky.

In addition to these iconic NYC landmarks, the New York Auto Show poster also incorporates overlaid pictures of the Statute of Liberty and, notably, the C7 Corvette Grand Sport’s wheel. The roller design includes split spokes and a sizable lip, and measure in at 19 inches by 10 inches in front, and 20 inches by 12 inches in the rear. The wheel is also made from aluminum.

In total, the C7 Corvette Grand Sport offered five individual wheel finish options for the 2019 model year, including Pearl Nickel (RPO code Q8W), Black (RPO code Q8X), Machine-Face (RPO code Q8K), Chrome (RPO code Q8Z), and Satin Black with Red Stripe (RPO code RUR). Although it’s a bit unclear, the wheel featured in the New York Auto Show poster appears to have a Machine-Face finish to it.

The New York Auto Show was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, however, the show is slated to go forward, running between August 20th and August 29th at the Javitz Center in New York City. A press day will kick things off on August 19th.

“We are excited to welcome back auto enthusiasts and industry professionals for this year’s show with full, pre-pandemic attendance levels and a new exhibit focused on electric vehicles with five indoor tracks where attendees can go for a test ride,” said New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. “This is a sure sign that New York is coming back stronger and better than ever.”
