The 2021 Cadillac CT5 brings about minor changes and updates, such as the addition of Super Cruise, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Buckle to Drive feature. The luxury D-segment sedan also sees the addition of two new exterior colors to its palette: Infrared Tintcoat and Diamond Sky Metallic. Here’s a closer look at the new silver hue.
Assigned color code G9F and touch-up paint code WA-459C, Diamond Sky Metallic is only available for the 2021 CT5 with the Diamond Sky Special Edition Package (WFP).
Diamond Sky is one of four neutral hues available for the 2021 CT5, along with Crystal White Tricoat, Satin Steel Metallic, and Summit White. Diamond Sky Metallic is also one of seven metallic exterior paint options available for the 2021 model year.
In total, there are 12 available colors for the 2021 Cadillac CT5, including:

- Velocity Red
- Satin Steel Metallic
- Summit White
- Black Raven
- Evergreen Metallic
- Shadow Metallic
- Wave Metallic
- Garnet Metallic
- Dark Moon Blue Metallic
- Infrared Tintcoat

Only Summit White and Black Raven are included in the base price of the sedan.
That means that the new Diamond Sky Metallic color is an extra-cost color on the 2021 Cadillac CT5, and can only be added through the selection of the aforementioned Diamond Sky Special Edition Package (RPO code WFP). The package costs an additional $2,800, though it also requires the $1,090 Climate Package.
The Diamond Sky Special Edition Package includes additional features such as alloy sport pedals, blue brake calipers, and body-color rocker moldings with black extensions, neutral-density (clear) tail lights, and more.
The package and, consequently, the color are available only in conjunction with the Premium Luxury trim and the Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black interior color combination.

As of this writing, dealer inventory of 2021 Cadillac CT5 models is sparse due to the ongoing microchip shortage, which has impacted the GM Lansing Grand River plant that assembles the CT5. We recommend checking with your dealer about availability of models coated in the new Diamond Sky Metallic paint.
