The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is offering a 2021 Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 as the grand prize in a new giveaway. Interested fans can enter for a chance to win the new Vette by making a donation to National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in an ongoing fundraiser, with the official sweepstakes drawing set to take place August 14th.
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is the world’s only museum dedicated to sprint car racing. Located in Knoxville, Iowa, the museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to preserving the sport’s history and promoting its future.
The 2021 Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 up for grabs is draped in Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic paint, and is equipped with the Z51 Performance Package. Package highlights include a unique Z51-specific front splitter and rear spoiler, upgraded Brembo brakes, upgraded suspension, a performance rear axle ration, Electronic Limited Slip Differential, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, heavy-duty cooling, and a performance exhaust system.
With the performance exhaust, the 2021 Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 produces 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Making all that muscle is a mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which connects to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to drive the rear wheel exclusively.
Additional features include black-painted brake calipers underneath 19-inch 5-open-spoke Bright Silver painted aluminum wheels. The cabin is equipped with GT1 Competition seats with Mulan leather upholstery, a 10-speaker Bose stereo, 8-inch color touch screen, and 12-inch configurable color cluster display.
