Two More 2021 GMC Yukon 22-Inch Wheels Available Again

Two additional 22-inch wheel options for the 2021 GMC Yukon SUV are once again available to order, GM Authority has learned.

The rollers in question are the 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels (SF0), and the 22-inch Carbon Flash Metallic wheels (SEZ). Both wheels are offered as LPO-level options, which means they are shipped to and installed by the dealer, rather than installed at the factory at the time of vehicle production. Vehicles ordered with these wheels are delivered with four temporary 22-inch steel wheels, with the vehicle alignment specs set to the 22-inch LPO wheel selected.

Notably, both the 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels (SF0) and the 22-inch Carbon Flash Metallic wheels (SEZ) are only available to order with the 2021 GMC Yukon SLT. The two wheel options are still unavailable to order in conjunction with the 2021 GMC Yukon SLE and Denali trim levels. Both wheels were never available with the GMC Yukon AT4, which cannot be configured with 22-inch wheels.

The new wheel availability follows the recent availability of four additional 22-inch wheel options for the 2021 GMC Yukon, specifically the six-spoke Midnight Silver machined-faced wheels with Chrome inserts (SEW), multi-spoke Gloss Black wheels (SGM), six-spoke Low Gloss Black wheels with machined accents (SEV), and the multi-spoke Chrome wheels (SF2).

Back in January, GM Authority was the first to report that all dealer-installed 22-inch wheel options for GM’s line of full-size SUVs and pickups were unavailable to order. The unavailability was down to constraints in the supply chain. In a follow-up, GM Authority exclusively reported that the issue was not down to production of the wheels, but rather, a delay in customs, with the affected wheels sitting in large cargo containers in the port of Los Angeles. According to one observer, the stacks of containers holding the wheels looked “like a skyscraper.” Then in April, GM Authority reported that GM was flying the 22-inch wheels into the U.S. in order to shore up supplies.
