INKAS Armored 2021 Cadillac Escalade Hits The Streets: Video

Armored vehicle manufacturer INKAS has released an upgraded variant of the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade, adding a layer of heavy-duty protection to the luxury SUV.

The new INKAS Cadillac Escalade features lightweight ballistic armor that provides complete all-around protection, with a ballistic protection level up to CEN 1063 BR6. That includes armor that can withstand fire from an assault rifle (7.62mm ammunition) and two DM51 hand grenades.

The protective armor covers the entirety of the perimeter of the passenger compartment, as well as protection for the battery and electronic control module. The standard glass was replaced with a multi-layer bullet-resistant glass, while the suspension, door hinges, and other structural points were reinforced. New run0flat devices were also installed.

The rest of the vehicle is as it was when it left the factory. Seating capacity is set at seven, while under the hood, you’ll find the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which produces 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm. The V8 connects to a 10-speed automatic transmission, with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations offered. The 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax is also offered, producing 277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm from the factory. Additionally, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade features an independent rear suspension, providing a comfortable ride and optimal handling.

In addition to the armor protection, INKAS is also offering a range of option equipment for its upgraded 2021 Cadillac Escalade, including a light-weight armoring package, heavy-duty brakes, a fire suppression system, a sire/PA/intercom system, emergency lights, and heavy-duty wheels.

Pricing for the INKAS 2021 Cadillac Escalade is not available on the INKAS website, but interested customers can request a quote online. Additionally, the armored vehicle manufacturer has posted a short video that shows the Caddy sitting pretty. Check it out below:
