Hot Wheels Red Line Club 1969 Chevy C10 Now Available To Order

Hot Wheels has opened up the order books for its limited-edition Red Line Club 1969 Chevy C10 diecast car.

The Hot Wheels Red Line Club is a members-only group of Hot Wheels enthusiasts that have access to exclusive Hot Wheels items, priority access to sales, and access to a members-only forum on the Hot Wheels website. In order to buy the new Red Line Club 1969 Chevy C10 diecast, Hot Wheels fans must pay a $9.99 fee for a one-year Red Line Club membership. The diecast itself, meanwhile, costs $24.99 to pre-order and is available now via the Hot Wheels online shop.

So what makes the Red Line Club Chevy C10 so special? This diecast truck features adjustable suspension that’s intended to mimic the operation of aftermarket hydraulic suspension. The car itself is a nod to the early days of car customization when lowering a vehicle was still illegal. To get around these laws, some smart custom car builders installed adjustable hydraulic suspension on their vehicles, allowing them to roll around at the vehicle’s regular ride height and drop it down to the ground when at a car meet or car show.

Red Line Club members also voted on various aspects of this car when it was still in development. The community voted for the Spectraflame Oxblood exterior paint color, along with the Real Riders 5-spoke wheels with black hubs. They also picked the ‘Shop Truck’ exterior decorations, which include a cream-colored roof and tonneau cover, ‘Red Line Speed Shop’ body side decals and hood pinstriping. The truck will come in a felt-lined display box and is available to order until June 14th, 2021. Again, this limited-run diecast is only available to Hot Wheels Red Line Club members.
