The COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally transformed the way in which the majority of Americans work, with many shifting to home offices while on the job. Now, GMC is encouraging remote workers to change up the daily grind with the new Work From Anywhere campaign, offering free in-vehicle Wi-Fi data for a select number of eligible GMC customers, as well as a chance to win a brand-new GMC Sierra AT4 pickup truck.
The new campaign will kick off on Thursday, June 24th, 2021, and will run until Sunday, July 4th, 2021. Interested participants are encouraged to engage on social media by sharing their office setups and tagging @GMC, as well as using the hashtag #WorkFromAnywhere.
To help get workers out and about, GMC is offering complimentary in-vehicle Wi-Fi for the first 20,210 eligible GMC customers who opt-in to activate the offer. Those who wish to activate the offer must own a 2015 or newer model year vehicle.
“We invite those feeling burned out to change their scenery, get outdoors and away from the home office, and enjoy the option to work from anywhere when safe to do so – whether it’s a getaway to a scenic location, a trip to their local park or even their own driveway,” said vice president of GMC Marketing, Phil Brook. “GMC’s premium lineup of trucks and SUVs is truly made to be used, offering bold design, authentic capability and all the comfort and connectivity ideal for a remote-office setting in whatever location you want to work from – or just to relax and enjoy the world around you.”
The campaign also includes a sweepstakes offering a chance to win a brand-new GMC Sierra AT4 pickup truck. Interested participants can enter to win and review the complete sweepstakes details and conditions at gmcworkfromanywhere.com. The sweepstakes ends July 22nd, 2021.

Wow, you got to be kidding me. What happened to the good old American work ethic? I used to tell employees if you don’t want to work go home. I’m sure that all those folks with Onstar access are going to stay hard at work. The Chinese companies are going to have us for lunch.
