Corsa Performance Shows Off Chevy Colorado ZR2 Cat Back Exhaust System: Video

Ohio-based aftermarket exhaust manufacturer Corsa Performance has released a video highlighting its new cat-back exhaust kit developed specifically for the 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2.

Corsa Performance already offered a cat-back exhaust kit compatible with the V6-powered Chevy Colorado, however this new kit was developed with the off-road-focused Colorado ZR2 variant in mind. Compared to Corsa’s regular Colorado cat-back exhaust, the ZR2-specific exhaust has been redesigned “to ensure ample ground clearance for the trail ready ZR2,” the company says. Additionally, the exhaust was designed to ensure ample clearance from the Multimatic DSSV dampers that come standard on the Colorado ZR2, preventing potential contact with the reservoir shock body.

Corsa’s Colorado ZR2 exhaust system is made out of 304 stainless steel and features dual-wall stainless steel tips and comes with Torca clamps for mounting/installation. Customers can choose between the side-swept dual-tip exhaust, which is featured in the promotional video embedded below this article, or they can opt for the dual-wall single tip option for an inconspicuous look. The exhaust is also made in the USA and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

To be clear, the Corsa Performance exhaust for the Chevy Colorado ZR2 is only compatible with trucks powered by the 3.6L LGZ V6 engine. The Colorado is also available with a turbocharged 2.8L LWN Duramax diesel four-cylinder engine, which Corsa Performance does not offer an exhaust kit for. The LGZ V6 engine comes standard with GM’s eight-speed automatic transmission in the Chevy Colorado ZR2, while the 2.8L Duramax is offered with the GM six-speed automatic.

Check out the video below to hear how Corsa Performance’s exhaust kit for the Chevy Colorado ZR2 compares with the stock exhaust.
