The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing compact super sedan will be powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter small block LF4 V6, which produces a GM-estimated 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The model will ship as standard with Brembo high-performance brakes and slotted iron rotors. This braking system comes standard with gray front and rear calipers bearing the V-Series logo. But gray is not the only caliper color on offer.
In fact, the 2022 CT4-V Blackwing offers four brake caliper colors: the gray (as standard), along with optional red, blue, and bronze. The optional brake caliper color options cost an extra $595.
For an idea of what each flavor looks like, see the images below.
Gray (Standard)
Red
Blue
Bronze
The bronze caliper option offers quite a unique look, and we’re very interested to see how they look when paired with the Dark Emerald Frost exterior finish and Satin Graphite wheels. Throw in both of the available carbon fiber aero packages, and that makes for quite a dreamy spec worthy of the GM Authority fantasy garage. It should go without saying that we’d opt for the standard six-speed manual transmission (over the 10-speed auto), since that’s what truly sets the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing apart from its competition.
Now that we’ve had a closer look at several options for the new super sedan, including exterior colors, interior colors and materials, carbon fiber packages, and brake caliper color choices, how would you configure your own CT4-V Blackwing? Sound off in the comment section below.
And for those who might’ve missed it, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing made its official debut on February 1st via an online streaming event, with the first 250 pre-orders opening up shortly after and selling out within roughly 24 hours. The high-performance, luxury sedan is set to go into production this July.
