Just weeks after the world debut of the all-new Buick Envision Plus in base five-passenger configuration, followed by the introduction of the three-row variant, pre-orders of the newest addition to Buick’s crossover portofolio have begun in China. General Motors announced that interested customers can now reserve the Envision Plus, and deliveries will start this month in the Chinese market.
The pre-order period of the all-new 2022 Buick Envision Plus began on June 1st and will run until the 19th of this month, when the official launch will take place and final details of the third Envision family member in China will be revealed. The seven-passenger variant will be the most representative configuration of the Envision Plus against its direct rivals, and will be available from the base trim level upwards.
During the first three weeks of June, customers who wish to reserve their new 2022 Buick Envision Plus will have several ways to do so, including the Tmall Buick online store, the official Buick app or a dealer of their choice. Those who pre-order an Envision Plus can enjoy a host of privileges such as cash rebates and attractive financing plans.
As the brand’s latest bid to capitalize on the growing demand for crossovers around the world, the 2022 Buick Envision Plus further strengthens the Tri-Shield brand’s utility portfolio in China – currently comprised of the new Encore, Encore GX, first-generation Envision, Envision S and Enclave. Positioned in the C-plus segment, the model seeks to meet the needs of growing families with class-leading comfort.
The 2022 Envision Plus is expected to be offered in various trim levels in the Chinese market, including entry-level and mid-range configurations in addition to the range-topping Avenir. It will come standard with SAIC-GM’s latest mild hybrid powertrain that adds an electric motor and 48V system to the turbocharged 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine, which will remain mated to GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Output numbers have not yet been announced.
The all-new 2022 Buick Envision Plus will launch in China during a special event on June 19th, with sales officially starting at that time. The new compact-plus crossover is expected to be unveiled in the coming months in North America as well, where it could be sold sometime next year under the Envision GX nameplate.

Thank you for the news, Deivis! I think the Envision Plus (Envision GX) is a clean, modern, upscale design. The Envision Plus Avenir looks especially nice in that purplish color and with those particular chrome wheels.
This should be sized just about right.
If it was made in USA!
If GM really wants do something for America and Americans. They will stop producing these vehicles in China. How about using the Lordstown Oh. idled plant . Or one of the other plants that were closed. I bet you could negotiate with the UAW. ESP. since you will be back jobs. China is not our friend. Also they pay no Corporate taxes.
I predict General Motors will – by about 2030, be a truck manufacturer only.
They will import this or that car or CUV from Chinese or Korean job-shops. They will wear “Chevrolet”, “Buick”, and “Cadillac” badges.
Given GM’s less than stellar record for supporting their captive imports, I’ll buy elsewhere.
They GM will probably build it here in America if there is demand for it… The Enclave is made here and China it’s probably cheaper to pay workers here then import it. Very well done Buick hits a homrum again!
next year? WTH. It should be here by later this year.
Buick needs this vesicle to fill the wide gap they currently have between the Envision and Enclave. Maybe just a Five seat version would make more sense with the rear bench seat on rails so you can chose between more legroom or more Cargo Space.
