  1. The Toyota will also have a smoother nicer sounding and more powerful engine compared to GM’s lame and not all that efficient 3 cylinder wonders. I’ll also bet the Toyota gets better mileage too!

    1. If you support the Japs you might as well get out of this country and move to Tokyo!

      1. It’s not about supporting another country it’s about buying the best vehicle for your needs and money. If you blindly support domestic manufacturers that make inferior products, you are supporting and accepting mediocrity. The manufacturer then has no incentive to improve.

Otherwise competition will always drive others to improve their product. Most Toyotas are made in the U.S. using parts from U.S. suppliers. While the Buick is made in China

        1. toyotas are made in USA with parts shipped from china and japan on giant container ships to port of long beach, ca. and trucked to low wage assembly plants and praised by anti-American rags like consumer reports, the most biased publication ever published by a bunch of left wing radical morons who claim they buy every thing they test, give me a break, if they spent every cent they get from subscriptions they couldn’t buy 1% pf what they claim they test WAKE UP AMERICA

          1. Right Jack, that’s why my Tacoma had a higher U.S. parts content than my made in Mexico Sierra. You’re lost in the 50’s. You’re eyes must be brown because everything you said is patently false. Those wages in U.S. plants are competitive. Toyota knows how to run more efficiently than it’s domestic counterparts, that’s the difference.

Toyota employs U.S. workers while GM has to import Cadillacs and Buicks in from China. The truth hurts and that’s why you don’t like Consumer Reports, so you call it a left-wing rag. What does politics have to do with reliability like new head gaskets on the 2015 made in Korea Buick Encore at 75k miles?

I can’t wait to hear your dopey response.

          2. The Buick Envision is built entirely in China.
All car makers use parts from all over the world. If you went by content and assembly , you would find some Japanese cars are more American than some American brands.

  3. Well the Buick certainly has a better looking front end. The Toyota looks like someone flattened it with a giant skillet.

    1. I disagree….the Cross has a much cleaner design.

  4. Jim, this rant about being a leftist if you dont buy a domestic brand is insane. The UAW supports and funds Marxist politicians. And GM makes garbage.

  5. I’ll buy an American or Japanese made Toyota before I would consider anything made in China. General Motors is not nearly as American as Toyota, so Toyota wins in my opinion.
