The 2022 Buick Enclave will no longer be available to order in three of the exterior colors that were offered previously.
The following three available exterior colors will not be offered on the 2022 Buick Enclave (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Satin Steel Metallic (RPO G9K)
- Dark Slate Metallic (RPO GPA)
- Red Quartz Tintcoat (RPO GPJ)
They will be replaced by three new colors for 2022:
- Sage Metallic
- Emperor Blue Metallic
- Cherry Red Tintcoat
The following exterior colors will remain available to order on the 2022 Enclave:
- White Frost Tricoat
- Quicksilver Metallic
- Summit White
- Ebony Twilight Metallic
- Rich Garnet Metallic
The Satin Steel and Dark Slate exterior colors were available on all trim levels of the 2021 Enclave. The automaker charged $495 for these two colors on the Preferred, Essence and Premium trims, although they were offered as a no-cost paint option on the range-topping on Avenir trim. Meanwhile, Red Quartz carried a $595 price premium on Preferred, Essence and Premium trims and was not available on the Avenir trim.
GM debuted the refreshed 2022 Buick Enclave last week. The facelifted version of the mid-size crossover has revised front and rear fasciae and new alloy wheel options. Inside, the vehicle has received additional premium soft touch points and redesigned center console with a new push-button Electronic Transmission Range Select.
The Enclave will continue with the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which produces 310 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 266 pound-feet of torque at 2,800 rpm. The V6 is paired with a GM nine-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available as an option.
Production of the 2022 Buick Enclave will start at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan later this year.

Sad to hear this news. I just LOVE my 2019 Enclave in Dark Slate w/ the neutral leather interior. One of the best looking cars around. Just wish Buick would go back to building 2 door full size luxury sport models like the Riviera and a LeSabre T-Type. I loved those days of “Going Fast with Class” ! Bring it back please. Show the world what America can do. A Proud Buick Family Member.
My 2019 Buick Enclave in Satin steel is a real looker and on a trip at 80 gets 27mpg and love the 310hp no 4 cyc they are noisier than my v6 for me and the ride nothing compares and no road noise and regular GAS!!!
I bought my 2019 Enclave Avenir in the limited edition Carrageen color. We were supposed to make 300 of them in that color (GM called it a Spring Special), but we had some issues with the first few we painted so there are fewer than that of them out there. It’s a stunning color & I get compliments on it all the time. I see the name for the new blue paint is going to be Emperor Blue. As we’ve been painting the pre-sale ’22 Enclaves the official name was SomeKindOfBlue. 😀
Very curious about all 3 of the new colors. Especially the emporors blue. Hope we get to see them soon.
You’ll see them soon. We’ve already done 3 “buckets” of saleable vehicles (about 100) and our regular start of production of the 2022s is August 2.
How much longer till we start seeing them at dealerships?
Love my Buick Enclave and you can’t beat that Buick ride !
Bad news that no grey colors being offered. Too many white and black! Bad management decisions being made regarding the enclave. This is not a teenagers car.
