The 2021 GMC Sierra HD (Heavy Duty) – which consists of 2021 Sierra 2500HD and 2021 Sierra 3500HD models – adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Cayenne Red Tintcoat, Hunter Metallic, and Ebony Twilight Metallic. Here’s a detailed look at the new ebony hue.
Assigned color code GB8 and touch-up paint code WA-384A, Ebony Twilight Metallic is one of three black exterior paint color options available for the 2021 GMC Sierra HD, with Onyx Black and Carbon Black Metallic being the other two options. Ebony Twilight is one of six dark hues, with Onyx Black, Carbon Black Metallic, Pacific Blue Metallic, Hunter Metallic, and Brownstone Metallic being the other five choices.
It is worth noting that two of the three new colors for the 2021 model year are metallic paint options, bringing the total number of metallic paint colors to six for the 2021 Sierra HD. And with two exterior paint options deleted for the 2021 Sierra HD, the addition of the three new hues brings the total number of exterior paint options to 11 for the pickup truck.
The new Ebony Twilight Metallic color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Sierra HD. Instead, it costs an extra $495. It’s available in conjunction with all interior color combinations, and with all trim levels except the Sierra (base) model.
