The all-weather floor liners and mats for the 2021 Chevy Tahoe and 2021 Chevy Suburban are once again available to order. As GM Authority reported previously, the all-weather floor liners and mats for the 2021 Chevy Tahoe and 2021 Chevy Suburban were previously unavailable due to COVID-19-related problems with a supplier, an issue which had affected availability since December of 2020.
The newly available items for the 2021 Chevy Tahoe and 2021 Chevy Suburban include the following (relevant parts codes listed in parentheses):
- All-weather floor liners, first and second rows (RIA)
- All-weather floor mats (VAV)
Both items are offered as LPO-level options, which means they are delivered to and installed by the dealer, rather than installed at the factory at the time of production.
Previously, vehicle orders that included the all-weather floor liners option had the item removed from the order and repriced.
Both the 2021 Chevy Tahoe and the 2021 Chevy Suburban are all-new for the 2021 model year, introducing a fifth generation for the former, and a twelfth generation for the latter. Under the skin, both SUVs ride on the all-new GM T1 platform, also known as GMT-T1, and feature an independent multilink rear suspension system with improved handling, steering, and ride quality.
Under the hood, the 2021 Chevy Tahoe and the 2021 Chevy Suburban are offered with a variety of engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax. Both SUVs are produced at the General Motors Arlington assembly plant in Arlington, Texas.
In related news, the Chevrolet Suburban was recently awarded an Award of Excellence from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The award is now situated in the city of Arlington as a nod to the Suburban’s starring role in more than 1,750 films and television series.

I ordered these factory mats in March of this year from Chevy.com and they came within a week delivered to dealer. No shortage as an aftermarket addition three months ago…
Have these on my 2021 Yukon and am not impressed. The material is a hard thin plastic, not a heavy rubber. To make them work for the fold down third row seat, they split the mat design into two parts, which lets them slide around and block the lift gate from lowering.
