The latest eighth-generation Chevrolet Corvette offers a fantastic platform for modification and personalization, and now, we’re getting a look at this fully customized widebody C8 Corvette riding on new Forgiato wheels.
Recently posted by the official Forgiato YouTube page, the video is under a minute long, but includes plenty of shots showing the customized widebody C8 Corvette in action. This custom C8 Corvette belongs to rapper, singer and songwriter Trippie Redd, and looks unlike any custom C8 we’ve seen thus far.
The first thing to grab us with this build is the color, which looks to be a highly polished orange chrome hue that has a slight chameleon glint to it depending on the angle. The new color drapes the C8 Corvette front to back, and although close inspection reveals a significantly wider stance, the sheer amount of detail laid on top almost makes the widebody kit feel secondary.
For example, the front hood is done in carbon fiber, while decals were added along the fenders and door. The rear fenders also show an anime-style character.
In the corners, the new Forgiata wheels are done with a matte black finish and orange inner detailing, with large heart-shaped graphics complementing the face of the wheel. The lip of the wheels also rocks the orange chrome finish and a deep-dish design.
To give this custom C8 Corvette the appropriate backdrop and setting, the video starts in a garage, where we see the coupe shine against some neon lights that play well with the chrome finish, even highlighting the interior. We then see the Vette roll out onto the streets, where the two-door plies the blacktop against the golden hue of the setting sun, bouncing off the chrome finish nicely and pulling back the camera perspective to see how the custom works cohesively, rather than focusing on all the details.
