A familiar Chevy Express discount reduces the price of the van by $3,000, and is available for both Cargo and Passenger models during May 2021.
An identical offer is available for the Express’s corporate twin – the GMC Savana. For those who may not be familiar with the products, both vehicles ride on the GM GMT 610 platform, and offer identical powertrain options, which include the 4.3L LV1 V6, 6.0L L96 Vortec V8, 6.0L LC8 Vortec V8, and Duramax turbo-diesel 2.8L LWN I4 engines. Notably, both 6.0-liter eight-cylinder engine options have been deleted for the 2021 model year, and replaced by the 6.6-liter L8T V8 engine.
While it is currently unclear when or if a next-generation Express will reach the market, we do know that the current model will continue to be sold through the 2023 calendar year. Meanwhile, GM unveiled its new commercial electric vehicle division called BrightDrop, and production of its first model called the EV600 will start at the GM CAMI plant in Canada at the end of 2021.

Any of you guys get any tips on options/colors/changes for the 2022 Chevy express / gmc savana’s yet?
My dealer told me I can’t special order a 2021 anymore and need to wait till July 1st for a 2022 but they have no access to options/changes yet.
Pretty frustrating, someone take my damn money already and give me a new van.

Check with Ford. Their van is at least 20 years newer than this one.
Nope. Last complete overhaul to the Transit platform was 1986, versus the Express which showed up in 1996. You don’t know this because you don’t live in Europe.
Wikipedia says 2013. Looking at the older Transits, the sheet metal does not look the same.
But no, I don’t live in Europe.
I don’t want a ford transit. I want to special order a Chevrolet express, the last of the North American styled vans.
