The all-new C8 Corvette offers loads of curb appeal, with a striking exterior design that demands attention. However, some owners want a custom look, adding their own personal flair to the mid-engine sports car with a variety of unique touches. Such is the case with the C8 Corvette featured here, which presents with a new custom exterior wrap.
Recently posted to social media by Champion Motoring out of San Diego, California, it appears as though this C8 Corvette was built for professional basketball player Jordan Clarkson, who currently plays for the Utah Jazz.
The first thing to jump out at us on this build is the color, a hue dubbed Gloss Ivory. It looks like the new color treatment was applied to the C8 Corvette body panels as a 3M wrap, and certainly sets this particular two-door apart from the crowd.
The next component to the fresh style are the new Forgiato wheels, sized at 21 and 22 inches, and wrapped in ultra-thin tires. The multi-spoke design gives the C8 Corvette a bespoke vibe that complements the new hue, and fill the wheel wells completely.
Final touches include a carbon fiber body kit, as well as a heavy tint for the side glass, windshield, and tail lights.
This particular model is the range-topping 3LT trim level, and comes equipped with the Z51 Performance Package, the latter of which adds new Brembo brakes, upgraded suspension, a new rear axle ratio, electronic limited slip differential, heavy-duty cooling system, and performance exhaust. With the performance exhaust installed, the mid-mounted, naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 produces 495 horsepower at 6,450 rpm and 470 pound-feet of torque at 5,150 rpm. Output is routed exclusively to the rear axle by way of the M1L eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
