You can keep your Chinese cars Mary Barra. I will buy made in USA.
Just hard to comprehend really. worldwide chip shortage, new model, reasonably appealing. yet 10 pct off +. gm’s pricing model is seriously flawed or buick is simply dead man walking and beyond life support. this is worth some in depth reporting.
Buick is dead in the US. They should really just sell the brand and sell out of GM-SAIC, but Mary won’t do that because exploiting cheap Chinese labor is too easy and profitable.
If Buick is dead in the US then so is Infiniti, Acura, and Lincoln, considering Buick sells more than them.
And I suppose Cadillac is dead in the US, too, since Buick outsold them in calendar year 2020, 162,741 for Buick, and 129,495 for Cadillac (even after lots of money spent redoing Caddy).
True but since Buick is premium luxury and Cadillac and luxury it’s expected for Cadillac to have less sales.
