2022 Chevy Corvette Z06 Logo Leaked Online

Hype for the upcoming 2022 Chevy Corvette Z06 is building, with details slowly trickling out ahead of the go-faster Vette’s debut. Now, the new Corvette Z06’s logo has leaked online.

The leaked Corvette Z06 badge shows a dark gray Z06 script against a silver background. The logo includes familiar styling, with squared lettering, rounded edges, and a right-leaning italic slant. The “Z” in the logo looks as though it is formed from two mirrored arrows, one higher and one lower.

By comparison, the Z06 logo used with the previous C7-generation vehicle incorporated a solid “Z,” while the “0” is formed from two mirrored L-shapes.

Just last week, GM Authority covered a Corvette C8 Z06 prototype that was spied testing alongside a Ferrari 458 Italia, reiterating the new Z06’s impressive performance capabilities. As we’ve reported previously, the C8 Z06 will draw motivation from the naturally aspirated, 32-valve 5.5L V8 LT6, which features a flat-plane crank and exotic-sounding exhaust note, returning the Z06 nameplate to its roots as an atmospheric, track-ready performance machine.

Loosely based on the same architecture as the twin-turbo 4.2L V8 LTA Blackwing from the Cadillac CT6-V, the LT6 is expected to produce roughly 615 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque, with redline set at a screaming 9,000 rpm. Power will be sent to the rear axle through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The sprint to 60 mph is expected to take less than 3 seconds.

What’s more, the 2022 Chevy Corvette Z06 is expected to feature a wider stance and higher grip levels, as well as the option for lightweight carbon fiber wheels and a massive rear wing.

The base price is expected to start around $85,000, with a debut in July.

  1. Where’s C8.R guy? See even GM is planning to reveal the Z06 as early as this summer. No word on when if even this year GM reveals their new twin trucks. Even with a massive shortage they’re still planning to launch this car out by 2022. Rolling out a concept truck showing the new ques won’t hurt us, what will is the delay of the reveal forcing aging truck owners to opt in for the competition not wanting to wait. GM needs to give them a reason to wait

    1. The reality here is this. By the time you add options most Zo6 will be nearly $100,000 or more. They will sell everyone they build.

They will make more dollars per chip than they will per truck.

As for concept…. no show to show it at. Also you complain now about not showing it but yet they still have a ton of parts to build 2021 models to use up and sell before this one arrives. They still have a lot of product to move due to the chip delays.

Seeing the new truck may not hurt you but it could leave a ton of trucks left to sell sitting if people wait.

You must look outside your narrow view to all factors in play here.

Besides all the people complaining not seeing the new truck now will turn into the ones to complain why are they waiting so long to bring it out.

Note too all the Vettes are sold out already, some ordering now are being told a year before their car arrives. So it may be shown in July and abled to be ordered but you may not see it very soon.

    2. Average transaction prices are sky high on trucks right now, I don’t think we’ll see the face-lift till last minute tbh

  2. There’s….as will the trucks, will be revealed at a private showing with the media given only a 72 hour notice if that. The prior decade saw dovens or reveals at major car shows where a MFG spent years and millions on their most important model just to have their competition show up with a half@@@@@ concept with too much chrome and a supercharger to steal the headlines from the reveal. They are all going to the model of what we saw with the GMC HD Denali reveal….that private 250000lb boat tow at the harbor…RSVP and media pass required.

  3. Can anyone tell how long does it to get 3400 status after 3000 status it been now 7 week later and I am still at 3000 status is that right

    1. It took me 15 weeks to get to the 3400 Status. Car was suppose to be built this week. However the plant is shutdown this week due parts shortage. It’s suppose to open next week and hopefully my C8 will get built. Then I have another three weeks before it arrives at the dealer. In the meantime I will enjoy my 2019 C8.

  4. As a long time fan of the Corvette, and having the pleasure of driving several models over the years, I have to wonder what the hell all the fuss is about what the Z06 logo will look like. A Vett is a Vett. I only wished I could afford one.

    1. New Vette news sold more magazines and gets more web clicks than about any other car in America.

People are always looking for news on this car be it they are buyers or not. It is a car many own and many more wish to own. Unlike a Spark.

      Nothing more nothing less.

  6. To me the “Z” looks like it’s supposed to resemble two stingrays facing opposite directions. Anyone else?

  8. They’ll make 12 of them the first year, 10 going to insiders and the other 2 on Ebay for 5000% over sticker being sold only after the dealer who got allocation has his son drive it all over town
