2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Configurator Goes Live

The online configurator tool for the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing has officially gone live on the automaker’s website, allowing us to customize our own version of the new ultra-performance luxury sedan.

The configurator for the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing allows users to choose the vehicle’s exterior and interior color and select from three different wheel options. The tool also includes the various options and equipment packages that are available on the vehicle, including the Carbon Fiber Package 1, which costs $4,350 and includes a carbon fiber front splitter, front wheel well deflectors, front dive planes and rear extra aero spoiler. There’s also a Carbon Fiber Package 2, which costs $2,650 and can be combined with the Carbon Fiber Package 1, adding carbon rocker extensions for an even sportier outward appearance. Other available equipment packages include the Technology Package, Climate Package and Driver Assist Package.

Our example vehicle pictured here is a six-speed manual model finished in the Wave Metallic exterior color and features a Natural Tan leather interior with Mini Perforated Custom Quilted Inserts and sueded front seatbacks. It has both the Carbon Fiber Package 1 and 2, along with the Technology Package for the must-have head-up display and air ionizer. We think the Wave Metallic exterior color looks great with the 18-inch Tech Bronze alloy wheels, which are a $1,500 option. With these options, our Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing would cost $76,940, including a $995 destination freight charge.

The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing comes standard with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L LF4 V6 engine producing 472 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. A standard six-speed manual transmission or available GM 10-speed automatic drives the rear wheels, enabling a zero to 60 mph time of just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 189 mph. The ultra performance sedan is set to enter production at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on July 5th. Prices start at $59,990, though a fully configured example with all possible options will run buyers $84,875.

  1. Guess inflation but a fully loaded ct6v blackwing was like 88k or 92k depending on if you pre ordered. 84k seems expensive for a v6.

    1. Great car. Great interior, but yeah for half the price I’ll keep my camaro it’s almost just as practical and fun. Maybe if I lived in Texas and could drive t all year long but you still could have a camaro and then a Silverado for the price of this awesome blackwing
