For illustrative purposes, we’ve included a side-by-side comparison of the 2021 Canyon Extended Cab and Crew Cab configurations in the Dynamic Blue Metallic finish.
It’s also worth noting that the Canyon Elevation Standard and Canyon Elevation models are available only with one wheel option – the 18-inch black wheels, which provide a strong contrast with the blue paint.

Why bother? GMC dealers won’t stock blue or red anyway. The only blue one I’ve seen within 100 miles of me is a phantom that “just sold” 3 months ago when I asked about it, but still shows up in their inventory today.
Nice color. Yeah, too bad inventory sucks.
I love that color. If I could have gotten that color on my current Canyon I would have.
Like this color alot I agree with Buick_regal that they wont have this color
I’d definitely consider this color if they expanded it to other vehicles. There’s something about a bright blue that looks great.
Finally . . . GM is starting to have some decent colors. They must have realized that not everyone wants some shade of gray.
New to them and people who have no idea about past blue shades from 60s muscle cars…Marina, Nassau…
Just saw a survey other day that Blue is still favorite color. Why no blue shades on cars? They should call this shade Obvious Blue. Step in right direction.
Does anyone not have problems with GM not releasing a ZR2 equivalent for the Canyon???
Yeah…why not. They did in the past. The GMC Highrider was the ZR2 cousin.
I owned a black 94 GMC Sonoma Highrider reg cab. Came with BFG ATs. 194HP 245tq 4.3 v6. Loved that truck. Had it 15 yrs before I sold it. I use to beat my brother in laws 94 Toyota v6 on and off road. He broke u joints trying to stay up with me going up a hill…
I can see a Dynamic Blue Highrider with black wheels and grill. LEDs all around with a front bumper LED light bar.
I have a question. Was the dynamic blue trim a bad selling color? I see that the 2022 trim colors does not have the dynamic blue. Why?
