The 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 brings various minor changes and updates, such as changes in the model line, the addition of Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new wheel availability, and several new packages. The model also sees the addition of three new exterior color to its color palette: Cherry Red Tintcoat, Oxford Brown Metallic, and Mosaic Black Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Mosaic Black hue.
Availability
Assigned color code GB8 and touch-up paint code WA-384A, Mosaic Black Metallic is one of two black exterior paint color options available for the 2021 Silverado 1500, with the other one being Black. Mosaic Black is one of three dark hues, Black and Oxford Brown Metallic being the other two choices.
It is worth noting two of the three new colors are metallic paint options, bringing the total number of metallic paint colors to six for the 2021 Silverado. With only two exterior paint options deleted for the 2021 Silverado 1500, the addition of the three new hues brings the total number of exterior paint options to 11 for the pick-up truck.
The new Mosaic Black Metallic color is included in the base price of the 2021 Silverado 1500. It’s available in conjunction with all interior color combinations, but the new hue is not available on 1WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, or LT Trail Boss trim levels.

Launch Timeframe
As of this writing, Chevrolet dealers might have the 2021 Silverado 1500 in stock, including models in Mosaic Black.
