Last summer, Florida-based wheel manufacturer Vossen released a video showing a C7 Corvette Grand Sport equipped with a set of its bronze Hybrid Forged HF-5 alloy wheels. Now, Vossen is back with yet another C7 Corvette equipped with a gloss black painted set of these very same wheels – although the car in this video also has a ton of other modifications to go with its aftermarket alloys.
At a first glance, the turquoise widebody C7 Corvette in this video has been heavily modified, with a ZR1-style front fascia and an aftermarket rear wing. Other modifications include a ZR1-style domed hood, flared-out fenders, an aftermarket front splitter and rear diffuser, white-letter Michelin tires, yellow Brembo brake calipers, new slotted rotors and different LED taillights. Judging by the sound of it, we’re guessing it also has an aftermarket exhaust system, too.
As for the wheels, they are Vossen HF-5s and measure 20 inches by 11.5 inches in the front and 20 inches by 12 inches in the rear. Meanwhile, the tires come in at 325 mm up front and a hulking 345 mm out back.
The HF-5 wheels are available in standard Matte Gunmetal and Gloss Black, and can be specified with a custom color such as Satin Silver, Anthracite, Satin Black and Satin Bronze. These Vossen five-lug wheels are sized in diameter from 19 to 22 inches, with a width ranging from 8.5 to 12 inches. Pricing ranges from $549 to more than $749 apiece.
