2021 Chevy Silverado Dark Essentials Package Now Available With Multi-Flex Tailgate
The Dark Essentials packages include black Chevy Bow Ties and black badging.
Uhmmmmm I see $4400 on 21 Silverado. What am I missing?
I’m not sure how GM Authority came to that number either.
On Chevrolet.com, the 2021 incentive is listed as $4400. These advertised numbers usually include the package discounts available, and likely the $200 discount for trucks with 8 speeds in place of 10 speeds, and the $50 discount for 5.3’s without DFM. But even with the package and other discounts that I’m aware of, I’m not sure how GM Authority came up with $6900 on 2021’s? The best I can figure is about $5750 on an LTZ with LTZ Premium Package ($500 discount), Z71 Off-Road & Protection Package ($500 discount), 5.3L with 8 speed ($200) and 5.3l without DRM ($50).
Check the configurator – 2021 Silverado 1500 4WD Crew Cab Strd Bed LT w/ 2.7L I4 engine option has a total discount of $6,400. Colleague informed me of $6,900, I’ll have to double-check the config for that incentive.
There is a permanent $2000 “discount” for taking the base T2.7 along with a $500 ”discount” for the all-star package etc.etc.etc. so a lot of $$$ you get any day of the year kind of like dept.store prices where they make up prices and make you think you getting like a 40% discount.
Where’s the 10k off like they have for Christmas? Also, why would someone buy one of these with the crappy interior when the new ones are a few months away?
They’re not having any problems selling them regardless of the incentives and “crappy interior”. I’ll bet the msrp will jump 10k with the 22s.
Hehe
No way with a big increase in MSRP people will just buy the competition.
Because unlike some people who aren’t actually truck buyers and prefer a luxury car but have an image complex, the interior is great. It’s laid out well, very functional and durable. Those car interiors in the Ram trucks aren’t lasting which is key. Real truck buyers want it to last and want it to work. Many of these box checker buyers like yourself that carry debt to buy a new truck every few years when the warranty runs out don’t care about longevity and durability, as long as it looks closer to a German luxury car that you coke from who cares if it lasts right?
My question is why are you here? You say the same regurgitated 12 year thing every time about the crappy interior which it is far from. Go join the ram forums or preferably a luxury car forum as it is blatant you are not at all a truck guy. Please leave, you’re annoying the heck out of everyone here. Grow up…
If the Crappy GM interiors are so great, why are they changing them? The only ones who approve of them are the GM sheeple. For your information my current Sierra is 7 years old and I will be paying cash for the 2022 providing the Crappy interior is gone.
