The GM Authority Take

The increase in Cadillac XT4 sales volume is welcomed news following the 21 percent decline reported in Q4 2020. During 2019, the model was finding its footing in the highly-competitive segment, gradually increasing sales volume during each quarter. The fact that the XT4’s segment share fell from 8 to 7 percent shows that it’s being slightly outpaced by the competition.

A refresh of the XT4 is on the horizon, expected for the 2023 model year. That’s one year later than originally planned by GM as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    1. Everyone who shops Lexus and Acura or Infiniti. Even Benz, Audi and bmw sometimes show up as trades.

  2. While looking for a new car to purchase two weeks ago I test drove a Cadillac XT4. I found it to be noisy, underpowered, and cheaply made. The XT5 is a much better car.

For the record, the XT4 is not noisy. We’re you listening with a stethoscope?
