Off-roading and camping enthusiasts who want to upgrade the bed of their Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra pickup truck with even more utility can look to Body Armor 4×4 for its new universal-fit overland rack.
Based out of Ontario, California, Body Armor 4×4 has been building off-roading gear for nearly two decades, and now, it offers a wide variety of products for enthusiasts that love to play in the dirt, including bumpers, doors, step-ups, suspension kits, lighting kits, tents and, of course, racks.
Now, Body Armor 4×4 is offering this Full Size Universal Overland rack, made to fit vehicles like the Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500.
The rack measures in at 60.5 inches in terms of overall length and 15.8 inches in overall height, and will fit beds with an inside rail measurement between 59.6 inches and 66 inches, as well as bed lengths of 5.5 feet and longer.
The rack features a black two-stage powder coat with a light texture finish, and offers multiple options when it comes to mounting, including no-drill rail clamps and a drill-mounting plate, as well as an optional utility track mount kit. The rack can also fit Body Armor 4×4’s Sky Ridge Series tent and awning kits for those users looking to get out into the Great Outdoors for more than an afternoon.
Body Armor 4×4’s Full Size Universal Overland Rack is priced at $799.99, per the Body Armor 4×4 website. As the manufacturer states, the rack is not designed to work with tonneau covers. The kit includes brackets, hardware, and all the components needed to fit the rack to rear of your truck, including both the Chevy Silverado 1500, as well as its corporate cousin, the GMC Sierra 1500. For those customers looking to add a unique look to their pickup, Body Armor 4×4 also offers a range of bumpers for the Silverado.
