The refreshed 2022 Chevy Traverse three-row crossover will go into production at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan on August 2nd of this year, GM Authority has learned.
Chevrolet dealers will be able to place orders for the current 2021 Chevy Traverse until the second order cycle in May.
The Chevy Traverse is one of many GM models which was scheduled to receive a mid-cycle enhancement (MCE) for the 2021 model year, only for this to be delayed due to the many complications arising from the global COVID-19 pandemic. The changes will include revisions to the exterior styling and a few minor improvements to the interior.

During the first quarter of 2021, the Chevy Traverse has accounted for 12 percent of the mainstream large three-row crossover segment in the U.S. It sits in third place in that segment, well behind the Ford Explorer (65,244 units) and the Toyota Highlander (63,831 units), but comfortably ahead of the Honda Pilot (31,451 units) and the Volkswagen Atlas (30,520 units).
The 2022 Chevy Traverse refresh will likely cause an uptick in interest in the model, thereby resulting in sales volume growth.
Like the current model, the 2022 Traverse will ride on the long-wheelbase version of the GM C1 platform, which is also the basis of the second-generation Buick Enclave. The only engine currently available for the model is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline motor, which produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque and is paired with GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission.

would be nice if GM Authority could put up detailed 360-degree pictures of the 2021 Traverse vs a 2022 model so we can see the changes, inside and outside.
Work on leaking photos of the new colors on the 22 model. Please! Also the midnight edition on the 22.
I agree. I’d like to see some real pics of this. I like the current Traverse a lot and realistically I would probably go for the Traverse over the new Tahoe just due to price and fuel economy. They did a nice job with these.
Will there be a redline edition still for 2022?
Nice! It’s look so cool! I will buy it!
if I have time I will go to see it! Love it
