Tagged with RPO code VOZ, the 2021 GMC Sierra‘s Hard-folding tonneau cover is available for both the Sierra 1500 and Sierra HD pickup trucks. Pricing is set at $1,100, with availability for the GMC Sierra SLT, AT4 and Denali trim levels, but not the SLE, Elevation, or base-level trim. Available body configurations include Crew Cab / Short Box, and Crew Cab / Standard Box.
When equipped on AT4 trim levels, the Hard-folding tonneau cover requires the AT4 CarbonPro Edition package (RPO code PCP), while on Denali trims, the Hard-folding tonneau cover requires the Denali CarbonPro Edition package (also RPO code PCP).
The cover is offered as an LPO-level (installed by the dealer) accessory. The cover also features a locking mechanism to keep items in the bed safe and secure. The Hard-folding tonneau cover is currently unlisted on the 2021 GMC Sierra online configurator.
The Hard-folding tonneau cover offered on the 2021 GMC Sierra was previously a three-fold tonneau cover, appropriately named “Tri-Fold Hard Tonneau Cover,” once again tagged with RPO code VOZ. However, as GM Authority covered previously, the Hard-folding tonneau cover now features a quad-folding design, and keeps the same RPO code.
The 2021 GMC Sierra is also offered with a Tri-fold soft tonneau cover for $700.
The GMC Sierra nameplate is set for a significant refresh for the upcoming 2022 model year, including revised styling with a new front and rear fascia, a completely overhauled interior with a new dash, center stack, infotainment screen, center console, and digital gauges, and the introduction of GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system on the range-topping Denali trim level.
