General Motors has launched a new Customer Satisfaction Program to replace the center front floor consoles in certain examples of the 2021 GMC Acadia crossover.
The problem: certain 2021 model-year GMC Acadia crossovers were built with center front floor consoles that are missing the switches for the front heated and ventilated seats and the rear ventilated seats.
The hazards: if the front floor console is missing switches, this will prevent occupants from being able to toggle the seat heating/ventilation function on or off. This problem does not pose a safety hazard to vehicle occupants, though vehicle owners will certainly find it preferable for these switches to be present in the vehicle.
The fix: dealers are instructed to replace the front floor console in affected vehicles. These repairs will be performed at no cost to the vehicle owner. Dealers in the U.S. will order the replacement consoles from GM’s Warranty Parts Center, while Canadian dealers will receive replacement consoles in the mail the week of March 8th, 2021.
Affected components: front floor console, seat heating/ventilation switches.
Affected vehicles:
- 2021 GMC Acadia
Number of affected vehicles: a total of 37 vehicles are affected by this problem. Affected vehicles are located in both the United States and Canada.
Next steps: GM will notify owners of affected vehicles and instruct them to make an appointment with their dealer. This Customer Satisfaction Program will remain active until March 31st, 2023. Customers can also reach out to GM customer service with any questions or concerns related to this customer satisfaction program using the contact information below.

Omg before reading i thought they were going to really up there quality issues like fixing all those 8 speeds transmission this is about some switches
Maybe do a little reading and research before writing in a post. First these have the new 9 speed which does not have issues and second the 8 speeds are fixed with either new fluid and/or torque converter replacement. All dealers should be aware of the TSB for them by now.
Worst vehicle ever built!
