Since 1998, the GMC Denali nameplate has been used to designate the brand’s range-topping line of SUVs and trucks, offering bold exterior styling, upgraded interior appointment, and the latest technology features. Now, we’re taking a closer look at all six models in the GMC Denali lineup.
GMC Terrain Denali
Let’s begin with GMC’s crossover models, starting with the GMC Terrain. Like the rest of the GMC Denali lineup, the Terrain Denali boasts a bold exterior design studded with chrome, helping it standout from the rest of the trim lineup. The Denali also features premium suspension with enhanced shock control, while the cabin includes a range of driver-alert and active safety tech via standard GMC Pro Safety Plus. Note that the 2021 GMC Terrain Denali is offered with late availability.
GMC Acadia Denali
Slotting above the Terrain is the GMC Acadia, with the range-topping 2021 GMC Acadia Denali boasting further chrome details and 20-inch Machined Aluminum Wheels with Black Accents. The cabin gets an eight-inch diagonal infotainment system and Head-Up display, as well as perforated leather seating.
GMC Yukon Denali
The GMC Yukon full-size SUV is all-new for the 2021 model year, and that includes the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali. Critically, the new Yukon Denali features a trim-exclusive interior design, with four exclusive color theme choices, as well as premium leather seating and wood trim accents. The front end is adorned with a Multidimensional grille with 10,000 reflective surfaces.
GMC Canyon Denali
Moving into the trucks of the GMC Denali lineup, we have the 2021 GMC Canyon Denali, which rides on signature 20-inch Diamond Cut Machined Aluminum wheels. The cabin space is adorned in open-pore ashwood trim, while the seats are covered in leather and feature heating and ventilation. Tech goodies include wireless phone charging and a variety of safety items as well.
GMC Sierra 1500 Denali
The 2021 GMC Sierra Denali is a popular choice, combining capability and refined luxury in one neat package. Buyers can also opt into the Denali CarbonPro Edition, which adds an industry-first carbon-fiber composite bed, as well as several other upgrades.
GMC Sierra HD Denali
Sitting at the top of the GMC Denali lineup is the 2021 GMC Sierra HD Denali, which combos impressive payload and pulling power with a sumptuous interior and head-turning looks. Standout features include standard 20-inch Multi-Dimensional Polished Aluminum Wheels, brushed aluminum interior trim, premium colors, perforated leather, and optional tech with up to 15 individual camera views.

I’ve said this numerous times – the Denali sub-brand has more equity in it’s name and function than Cadillac does as an entire marque, and I love Cadillac.
GMC is easily GM’s strongest brand, and Denali is GMC’s strongest line…so that should tell you everything you need to know about how valuable it is.
