ACS Composite Introduces C7 Corvette Rear Quarter Extensions: Video

One of the various aerodynamic pieces that separate the C7 Corvette Z06 and Corvette Grand Sport from the regular Corvette Stingray are the front fender extensions, which are the tiny black plastic wickers attached to the two front wheel arches.

ACS Composite, which manufactures various aftermarket body parts for the Corvette model line, says that C7 Corvette Z06 and Grand Sport owners have contacted them in the past complaining that no company makes rear fender extensions to match the front set. To be clear, Chevrolet does not ship the C7 Corvette Z06 or Grand Sport with rear fender extensions, so it seems as though some owners wanted to balance the look of the car out with an aftermarket pair. ACS Composite was more than happy to oblige these Corvette owners, releasing its own set of rear quarter extensions on its website.

“One of the biggest complaints we get from Z06 and Grand Sport owners is the lack of a matching fender extension for the rear wheel,” ACS Composite says on its web store. “Inspired by the front Z06 fender extensions, we answered the call and ported over the extensions to the rear of the C7 Corvette.

“The extensions will provide that missing protection along the inside paint surfaces. Now, you will have cohesive coverage and aesthetics front to back!”

ACS Composite is charging $499 USD for a pair of these rear quarter extensions, which come finished in Carbon Flash to match the rest of the exterior trim that comes on the C7 Corvette Z06 and Grand Sport. The fenders snap onto the rear fenders and bolt in using the existing OEM screws for the rear deflector section. Double-sided tape is used to seal the surface of the deflectors as well.

  1. Yup, nothing like making a fair profit, Guess I will wait for the Biden made in China Ones.
Ps, When I got my 19 GS my dealer gifted me (ordered) replacement rear clip chip guards all four funny the original ones were made in the US and the better little bit larger ones were from China in GM boxes! Generous motors should have had them on as OEM but saw a profit over stone chips!

  2. I love carbon fiber. This really completes the car. Looks like a well made product.

  3. The front ones look terrible, so I truly don’t understand WANTING to add them to the back. The fronts look like GM cheaped out and half-assed the widebody. GM SHOULD have made the fenders like the ones they put on the ZR-1, which don’t have cheesy plastic extensions. I hate those things so much, I would never consider a Grand Sport simply so I could avoid them. I would, however, tolerate them on a Z06 because Z06.
