2021 Cadillac CT4-V Gets New Rift Metallic Color: First Look

As GM Authority outlined yesterday, the 2021 Cadillac CT4-V adds two new exterior colors to its palette: Infrared Tintcoat and Rift Metallic. Here’s our new look at the gray-white hue, courtesy of Cadillac.

The Rift Metallic color is exclusive to the CT4-V, and Cadillac explains it as “an alabaster white-based color with a fresh greige hue.”

Pricing

The new Rift Metallic color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Cadillac CT4-V, and costs an additional $625, which raises the base price to $46,515, including the $995 destination charge.

Availability

Assigned color code GRW and touch-up paint code WA-249F, Rift Metallic is one of four neutral exterior color options available for the 2021 CT4-V, along with Satin Steel Metallic, Summit White, Black Raven, and Shadow Metallic.

The color is exclusive to the CT4-V and limited to the two interior color combinations: Jet Black or Sangria with Jet Black. Notably, this color is also available for the upcoming, highly-anticipated 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing.

As of this writing, 2021 Cadillac CT4-V models are readily available at dealers across the country, since the GM Lansing Grand River plant has been assembling and shipping the 2021 model to dealers for the past several months.

Models in the Rift Metallic exterior color are currently available in stock as well, though they appear to be more sparse compared to the other available colors. Of course, availability varies from dealer to dealer, so be sure to check with yours for complete details.

  1. I love that color. My 2020 CT4 is the dark garnet metallic maroon color and although I love it and get many compliments on it, I would much rather have a white one or this color. Keeping this maroon car clean has proven to be a challenge. Maybe in 20 months when I’m ready to trade again, they will offer this color on the luxury trim.

  2. OH BOY ! Just what we need – – another gray/silver color to blend in with all the other similar dull colors.
