2021 Buick Envision Among AutoTrader’s Top 10 Best Car Interiors Under $50,000

The 2021 Buick Envision has one of the best interiors of any vehicle under $50,000, according to the experts over at AutoTrader.com.

The latest iteration of Buick’s popular compact crossover has been included on AutoTrader’s list of the 10 Best Car Interiors Under $50,000 for 2021. The publication said the redesigned interior of the 2021 Buick Envision interior has set it up well to compete with pricier alternatives from rival manufacturers and also applauded some of the optional extras on offer in the vehicle.

A redesign for 2021 has repositioned the Envision to compete with class leaders while undercutting them on price,” AutoTrader said. “Step inside the new Envision and you might think you’ve entered a more expensive European luxury crossover. Just a few interior options include perforated leather seating, a dual-pane sunroof and a color head-up display.”

Among the most notable changes made to the Envision for 2021 is the addition of the high-end Avenir trim level. The Avenir, which starts at $43,690 including destination, has the most lavishly appointed cabin of any Envision trim-level and offers features and optional extras usually seen at higher price points. Some of the standard interior features that come with the Avenir trim include a 10.2-inch touchscreen, Bose nine-speaker audio system, active noise cancellation, perforated leather-appointed seating, heated front and rear seats, driver massage seat controls, a color head-up display a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel and an in-vehicle ionizer with an air-quality indicator.

The 2021 Buick Envision began arriving at dealerships late last year and represents the second-generation of the nameplate. It rides on the new GM E2 platform shared with the Cadillac XT4 and comes standard with GM’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine, which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is built by GM China (SAIC) at its Jinqiao plant in Shanghai, China.

  2. That’s great. Hey lifelongGMowner: this should be great news on your front and make the choice your family member made a good one! I can’t wait to see it in person and decide for myslef.

    1. Dan Berning,

You will not be disappointed !

If this interior was in the CT5 there would be one in our garage today.

      Or an Escalade interior !

I am glad you got the CT4, we just do not like the interior well enough to buy one, and still have not made a decision what is next.

I am still thinking positive, and when gm realizes they can not sell as many EV Cadillacs as they have planed, they will put a Cadillac worthy interior in a midsized ICE.

Otherwise we will punt I guess

  3. have seen zero marketing for it. Buick’s “marketing” is pitiful.

    1. On January 27, I purchased my 2021 Envision (5th Buick 30 yr. loyalty) , after I was told there were “no deals” on this car- “ too new”
.Feb. 2, GM offered $2,250 “cash allowance” to buyers. I was told “too bad”. I was told dealer “didn’t know”. I don’t believe it.

      1. You were willing to pay the price on Jan 27, maybe you needed a car right away. I try to always wait it out. My experience is the salesman always “lies.”

        1. Neither the dealership nor the salesman knows ahead of time what is coming next until it is announced by GM. They give us no heads up, never have.

      2. GM does not inform dealers on what monthly programs will be before the reveal at the beginning of the month. We find out when everyone else does. Speaking from a BGC dealer.

  8. This, imo, is a great looking SUV. The exterior was always interesting and now the interior in the Avenir model offers a competitive edge to the German and Asian SUV’s. I haven’t had, or even considered, a Buick since my 1970 Buick Skylark GS. But, as a loyal GM owner for over 6 decades, I will definitely take a hard look at this new Envision. Congrats GM. The only downside to me is it’s assembled in communist China.

  10. Same here Tigger, NOT on my buy list. Buick’s internal rival, China vs USA, or Envision vs Enclave vs Cadillac vs Blazer….

  12. That’s funny because the review at Car and Driver magazine knocked points off for the interior. Said it was a “premium pretender”
