The most track-capable Cadillacs ever made are about to drop cover, and GM Authority is the place to watch the Cadillac Blackwing reveal as it happens.
Cadillac teased the CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing in a video aired during the Rolex 24 At Daytona endurance race over the weekend, providing us with a clear view of the two super sedans’ new styling. Both models featured reshaped fascias with a prominent lower splitter section and new intakes, while the CT4-V Blackwing rocks a set of canards in the corners. A large spoiler is added on the trunk of both models as well.
Inside, the Cadillac Blackwing sedans are expected to feature carbon fiber racing seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel with a prominent 12 o’clock racing stripe. There will also be a shift knob emblem made from 3D-printed metal.
The big ticket items will be the engine specs, with the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing featuring the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 LF4, the same engine found in the now-discontinued Cadillac ATS-V, and the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing featuring the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4, the same engine found in the third-generation Cadillac CTS-V.
Exact power figures have yet to be released ahead of the Cadillac Blackwing reveal, but should be close to those of the ATS-V and CTS-V, which produced 464 horsepower and 640 horsepower, respectively. A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard, while a 10-speed automatic will be an available option.

The 2022 CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing will offer magnesium wheels that are the first of their kind for any Cadillac vehicle.
Reservations will open at 7:30 pm EST following the Cadillac Blackwing reveal, with 250 units per model (500 units total) up for grabs at $1,000 a piece. Each reservation will include a session at the Cadillac V-Performance Academy driving school, as well as a few other goodies. The first units of the new Blackwing sedans will be available later in the summer, with additional units becoming available afterwards.
As for the Cadillac Blackwing reveal, it’s set to kick off at 7 p.m. EST, so stay right here.

Is that a ct5 sport, ct5v, or a ct5 v blackwing? Tough to tell them apart. To tough!
Can’t even design a normal beautiful steering wheel. Oh and let me guess they won’t give us performance numbers 2day. Probably by summer or smth lol
Puts imports to shame!
Very impressive! Please GM market these vehicles!
Very nice 👍🏾
I miss Cadillac’s previous design language. Not a fan of these Chevy Cruze inspired headlights.
After seeing the engines and numbers associated with them, I have a feeling this is why the Camaro is dead after the 6th Get has completed its production run. GM is transitioning every one over to sedans…
I wish my Cruze had these headlights. They are very nice
I just wonder why GM tries to re-introduce Cadillac into Europe with the bland XT4 instead of those two beasts.
The XT4 is placed in a segment of Compact car size, where there is a lot of competition, and the Cadillac does not really stick out.
But these — these create the “wanna have” feeling (not in me, though) for a number of people who expect exactly that from an US car. Or maybe the realisation that US cars no no longer those huge gas gussling barges with a wobbly suspension.
Not MY type of car (I would rather try to get out of the way, for not being hit by a speeder) , but it would have found more interest here in Germany than the XT4. Just from the commercial, marketing standpoint.
