The 2021 Cadillac XT5 is an attractive and well-equipped vehicle in the base Luxury trim level, but in our opinion, it becomes a much more appealing package if it’s ordered in the more lavish Premium Luxury trim.
This live photo gallery shows a 2021 Cadillac XT5 in the content-rich Premium Luxury trim level. For those who may be unaware, the Premium Luxury trim level sits adjacent to the Sport trim in the luxury marque’s Y-trim level strategy and features bright exterior trim and other unique equipment. This Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury is finished in the Wilder Metallic exterior color, which is $625 paint option offered on the crossover.
The 2021 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury features bright roof rails and window surrounds, along with a bright chrome front fascia applique. Standard equipment on XT5 Premium Luxury models includes 12-inch split 6-spoke alloy wheels with a Pearl Nickel finish, but this particular model swaps the stock units in favor of 20-inch six-split spoke alloy wheels with a Diamond Cut/Android finish (RPO SLV). These wheels are a $1,700 option on the 2021 Cadillac XT5.
Two engine options are available with the 2021 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine serves as the base option, producing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Optionally available is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, making 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both of these engines connect to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain. Customers can also equip the crossover with AWD for a $2,000 premium.
Pricing for the 2021 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury starts at $49,790, including the $995 destination charge.
