The Buick Enclave is offered as the premium brand’s full-size four-door crossover utility vehicle, with three rows of seating inside the cabin to accommodate passengers. It’s a great setup for transporting the family to and fro, but for those customers expecting to use the Enclave to move dirty or muddy passengers, it’s worthwhile to note that the Buick Interior Protection Package is currently unavailable to order.
As it just so happens, the Buick Interior Protection is no longer available to order at this time due to parts shortages.
Tagged with RPO code PDH, the Buick Interior Protection Package offered on the 2021 Buick Enclave includes a variety of components to protect the interior. The package includes the following content (relevant RPO codes for each item are listed in parentheses):
- First and Second Row All-Weather Floor Mats (VAV)
- Third Row All-Weather Floor Mat (VKN)
- All-Weather Cargo Mat (VLI)
When ordered on the 2021 Buick Enclave Avenir, the package replaces the standard Avenir floor mats on all three rows. The package is priced at $270, per the official Buick Enclave online configurator. It’s unclear at this time when the Interior Protection Package will once again be available to order.
To note, the latest 2021 Buick Enclave marks the fourth model year of the latest second-generation vehicle, and follows a mid-cycle refresh for the 2020 model year. Motivation is sourced from the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gas engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, and routes through a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both FWD and AWD are available.
Under the skin, the 2021 Buick Enclave rides on the long-wheelbase variant of the GM C1 platform. Production takes place at the GM Lansing Delta Township factory in Michigan.
